Website relations for better seo serp

Best Practice of your company website to other SoMe platform relations

Its very often mentions in SEO and SERP strategies, that you should point your website to platforms like social medias and show them lots of things there. I ask: Why do that?

If you ask your customers to click away from your company site, your disturb them in what yo really want as business: Encourage the potential customers to order your products or service as easy as possible.

I use another approach and strategy: If you use the AIDA-marketing model as your tool, your awareness on social platforms and others should be your bate for getting the future customer to your website / domain and make them place an order here = you got the money in your pocket.
Another reason is, that as long the potential customer is swimming around on other platforms they got lots of hard impressions form advertisers from competitors. That is = money to other platforms and in worse case to the competitor. Would you like that?

You might though use the SoMe as a good platforms for testimonials and good referral for your company and website. That site you should build your own platform so robust that and interesting that this is the preferred place your customers want to be because you here supply them with answers for their questions and to solve their problem.

You are the fisher(wo)man in the centre of the World Wide Web and with all the nice fish swimming  around your feet you have much better change to encourage them for a sale.

So its a delicate balance of using platforms from outside as community and marketing tool and you need to test and experiments a lot to find a balance. All this requires your NAP (Name, Address and Phone) and other referral to your domain, email etc. are equal all over. So to say your business card has to identical aka web awareness convergence.
